Survival Khmer

This is the recommended first text for those learning Khmer. It includes the most basic building blocks of  information you need to learn to survive and thrive in Cambodia. It is recommended that students use the words, phrases, and sentences they learn out in community on a daily basis for several hours. What you say is far more important that what you "study"! For those who will work with patients or will be involved in the village setting in Cambodia, you will find this resource that focuses on medical terminology to be very helpful. Christian Survival Khmer

Want to learn Christian terminology and words from the Khmer Scriptures?  Please consult this valuable resource. But, please be reminded.  The Bible is written in royal language which is not used every day. Therefore, this level of language might be difficult for some to understand. When speaking in rural settings, please do NOT use "Christianese," but rather speak in simple terms about the God who created everything.
