Matthew to Acts

If I came to live in Cambodia but was too lazy to read about Cambodian culture and history, do you think I would find it easy to understand Cambodia today? No. Likewise, to understand the New Testament, we need to understand what has happened previously in the Old Testament. We are not going to go through the whole of the Old Testament, but we will quickly look at some of the main points. We will also look at some of the history that happened in the 400 years between the end of the Old Testament and the time of Jesus. Hopefully this will help us to better understand some of the things we will read about in the New Testament.
